It's my pleasure to announce that the Joint committee on Unification, held in Pendronia, has been officially closed by its Chairman Lord Sigare, with its business complete. The full list of recommendations, passed by the Committee in democratic vote, is being compiled by Lord Sigare and will be presented soon. Prince Justin, Chairman of the Hanoverian delegation will present these Recommendations to His Majesty the King.
Following that, the Committee has suggested that the Kings, between them, appoint one person to write a Constiution of the Empire to their mutual satisfaction, based on the content of the Recommendations. This Constitution, so the Committee suggests, should then be presented in the appropriate form to the Parliaments and/or Governments of both Hanover and Pendronia, in order to be ratified. This will be done by the process of Constitutional Amendment, as stated in the Constitutions of each kingdom. In Hanover, I believe, this includes a general referndum and the King's assent.
At that stage, we will be ready to form the Council of Electors, choose our Emperor, and begin the Empire!
