According to the 'Ratelonian Embasssy to English-speaking micronations' homepage, Hanover is at the centre of the English-speaking micronational world. So well done, folks! I'm not sure what kind of secret negotiations went on behind this, but this is what the website says:

The Embassy is just a few kilometres away from the international airport of Bergen. Of course we got small offices in the other states, but the Ambassador prefered to have his head-quarters set up in the centre of the English-Speaking micro world.

Anyway, congratulations to our Ratelonian friends, if you're reading this - you have been the first micronation I've heard of to reach out past the language barrier to an entire community of micronations beyond your own. English micronations have always had fairly good connections with the Lusophones (not Hanover herself, but older nations), but the new diplomatic frontier is surely the german-speaking world!

I guess you wonder why I picked Hanover?
Mainly because the Relationships are quite good and Hanover approved to me, as being a nice place to live in, or at least to stay.

By the way did you send any delegate to the micro conference?

I've been watching the activity of the conference, but Hanover has no official delegates there, as far as I know. We're not really interested in the mapping issues at the moment, although the possibility of a new intermicronational organisation, with more than one language-group represented, certainly interests me personally.
