In the name of His Majesty Alexander, King of Calormen, I Herr Daniel von Dreesbach Governor General, and whatsoever to whom these presents shall come, greeting.

WHEREAS it is fitting that the nation shall have a means of defending itself

LET IT BE KNOWN that it is Our Will and Pleasure that the Praetorian Guard be created and established.

WE DO FURTHER subject this society to this charter and compel it to obey and uphold the strictures contained herein and legal statutues of Calermon.

1. The Praetorian Guard answers to the King of Calermon through his repesentative the Governor General

2. The Praetorian Guard shall be organized into legions each legion will consist of 4 brigades, 40 battalions. The battalion is a local command made up of platoons. The regiment is a unique base level command established in order to command each base.

3. The rank structure of the Praetorian Guard Shall be:

[st]4. The rank insignia shall be based on the rank insignia of the US Marine Corps.
a) The insignia for the Guard shall be the same as the rank insignia for the Marine Corps for the camaflouged uniform.
b) The color of the enlisted dress insignia shall asthe Marine corps enlisted excepted with the following modifications be with red backgrounds.
c) The officer rank insignia shall be the same as the Marine Corps rank insginia.
d) All other distinctive American icons and symbols are to be removed.

5. Uniforms.
a) The standard work uniform is the camaflouge uniform of the Navy seals.
b) Dress unifoms shall be black straight legged pants with 1 inch blood red stripes down the seams and a black dress shirt with red trim over a red t shirt

6.Oath of office I, (persons full name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the The Kingdom of Calermon against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Time to put some teeth into this baby.

I would like you to construct a promotion schedule for the enlisted and officers and submit it to me via private message. We will then see about growing this organization into something more than a few posts.

I am more than happy to consult on this and help fill in any gaps.

I want an objective definable series of goals and criteria by which we can promote people in the organization.

I see this as really important because it becomes the basis for respect among the ranks. People of lower rank will know why people of higher rank have that rank. It needs to be as non-subjective as possible. The reason of "someone likes me" is not acceptable in this organization.
