ROYAL PROCLAMATION RENAMING VALSINORE PALACE

JAMES THE SECOND by the Grace of God of Hanover and Varennes King, Head of the Commonwealth, Supreme Governor of the Church of Hanover, Defender of the Faith, to all to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:
Whereas We did take into Our Royal Possession the residence of Our Lord Archbishops of Bergen known as Valsinore Palace and did subsequently designate the said palace a Royal Residence within our capital city of Bergen, now called Oxbridge:
Whereas We for divers good causes and considerations Us thereunto moving are graciously pleased to bestow upon the said Royal palace a new name that shall better reflect the prevailing Anglophile cultural traditions of Our Realm:
Therefore Know Ye that We of Our especial grace and favour and mere motion do by these Presents ordain, declare, and direct that the said Our Royal Palace of Valsinore shall henceforth be called Sudbury Castle and shall continue to have the status of a Royal palace:
In witness whereof We have caused Our Letters to be made Patent. Witness Ourself at Wealdstonbury this tenth day of May in the first year of Our reign.
