All,

We're still unpacking the boxes here at Gresham house, and I can tell you it is an interesting experience. The last time I held such a position in this nation we didn't have this nice place to stretch out and consider the worries of the day.

The place was left in immaculate condition, a condition I believe very much will be a challenge for the cleaning staff to maintain now the pitter-patter of little feet can be hear throughout the halls of this historic building. None the less, the little one is busy exploring as little ones are apt to do and she has found her way into everything, except where-ever it is they keep the letter head around here.

First thing is, of course, to schedule the weekly audience with His Majesty. I have requested this and shall await his command.

After that we have some more house keeping to do. Specifically it would be good to find a replacement speaker for Parliament. There are other things that need to happen as well, but government takes time.

God save the King.
