THE OMNIBUS PROBATION RELIEF ACT 2009

An Act to waive further probationary citizenship for certain recent immigrants.

BE IT ENACTED by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, That the probationary period required by the laws of Hanover is hereby waived for the persons listed below, and they accordingly possess full Hanoverian citizenship.

James Marchmain
Alexander von Kassel
Edgard Portela

My Lords and Gentlemen,

The above is a simple Act to waive probation for three of our newer citizens. Mr. Marchmain and Mr. Portela are returning citizens, who in my opinion need not undergo the probation period; Mr. Von Kassel has demonstrated extraordinary promise in the Church and the State, and I think is worthy of being included in this waiver of probation.
Mr. Speaker,

Point of information regarding the three that are subject of this bill:

James Marchmain's naturalization is dated 18 MAY 2009.
Alexander von Kassel's naturalization is dated 7 MAY 2009.
Edgard Portela's naturalization is dated 27 MAY 2009.

If enacted today (unlikely):
This act would cut off 20 days from James Marchmain's probation.
This act would cut off only 9 days from Alexander von Kassel's probation.
This act would cut off 29 days from Edgard Portela's probation.

Given the individuals involved I believe this is a good and worthy bill and stand in support of its passage without amendment.
