FOR THE SPEEDY CALLING OF A NEW PARLIAMENT

WHEREAS Our High Court of Parliament stands dissolved by the Proclamation of Our royal Predecessor, King Alexander the First, but We are desirous to have the advice and counsel of the Great Men and Peers of Our Realm upon certain grave and weighty concerns affecting Our State and Church:
AND TO THE Intent Our good Subjects may perceive the Confidence We have in their Affections, and how desirous We are to meet Our People, and have their Advice in Parliament, We do hereby make known to Our said Subjects, that We have given Directions for the issuing out of Writs, in due Form of Law, for the calling of a new Parliament, which shall begin and be holden at Bergen on Monday the Twenty-fifth Day of May.
