Count,
I thought I saw some of your prims on the outpost parcel!
For building tutorials you should consult google.com, there are thousands.
Here is one I found: http://www.knowprose.com/node/16487
Watch a few, try what they tell you to do, and then experiment. That's the best way to learn to build, by building.

Are there any positions avaliable in New Bergen?
03-25-2008, 02:49 PM
Mr. Nortan,
Indeed there are positions open in New Bergen. In fact, the question is "What's NOT available in New Bergen?"
New Bergen is growing, and so the options are actually limitless. Whatever skills you have, they have a place in New Bergen. Whatever skills you might like to develop, they too are needed in New Bergen.
Here are some of the obvious options:
The University: We're still forming this, but we need people to be administrators, instructors and more.
The Uniformed Services: New Bergen is starting a security patrol, you could easily be part of it.
The Gallery: New Bergen needs help finding new artists, and helping with events.
The New Bergen Blog: The current Editor in Chief could always use some help finding good stories and putting them on the blog.
The Church: I must defer to the Archbishop for specifics but I suspect there are useful things that need to be done for the church.
Each of these things has a leader that I will introduce you too if you like. If you want to do something else, then perhaps you can lead the new effort?
Does this help?

I've been visiting New Bergen every couple of days, and I must say, I am impressed by the construction.

Chrimigules Honig. On second thought, I should have picked something that sounded less lame.
