| Vulstanius | Your Majesty, My Lords, Gentlemen, I have the honour to call this session of the Royal Court into order. |
| Vulstanius | Now for the prayer |
| Vulstanius | Oremus |
| Vulstanius | Adsumus, Domine Sancte Spiritus, adsumus peccati quidem immanitate detenti, sed in nomine tuo specialiter congregati. |
| Vulstanius | Veni ad nos et esto nobiscum et dignare illabi cordibus nostris; doce nos quid agamus, quo gradiamur et ostende quid efficere debeamus, ut, te auxiliante, |
| Vulstanius | tibi in omnibus placere valeamus.
Amen. |
| HM Alexander I | +Amen |
| stakor2000 | +Amen |
| Vulstanius | I now cede the floor to whomever wishes to speak |
| HM Alexander I | First, I would like to recognize and thank the Lord Damoneigh for his service as Our Prime Minister. Count, you left the Kingdom in a better condition than you found it. |
| Vulstanius | Indeed |
| HM Alexander I | Second, I know the Count may have time constraints, so I would like to give him the first opportunity to bring any issues. Count? |
| stakor2000 | Thank you sire. One point. I have not retired yet and wont until the new one takes office |
| HM Alexander I | And we admire your dogged determination to cross every t. |
| stakor2000 | My retirement speech I announced I would officially retire once Lord Oldenburg takes office. |
| stakor2000 | Thats why I tried to deal with the Church's request |
| Vulstanius | And I thank you for doing so |
| HM Alexander I | Count, how much time do you have? |
| stakor2000 | 50 minutes |
| HM Alexander I | Oh excellent, plenty. |
| Vulstanius | Well that should be plenty of time |
| stakor2000 | yes |
| HM Alexander I | Count, do you have any issues for the court? |
| stakor2000 | No I do not. |
| HM Alexander I | (Now you all see why I like him so!) |
| HM Alexander I | Your Grace, any issues? |
| Vulstanius | Just the change in the name of the Church's forums and the addition of the other to forums in the little box thing |
| Vulstanius | two forums* |
| HM Alexander I | OK, that should be easy enough. |
| Vulstanius | Indeed it should |
| HM Alexander I | Speaking of the forums, does everyone here agree they have just gotten almost unusable? |
| stakor2000 | Yes the forums are unusable |
| HM Alexander I | We can use this time anyway |
| Vulstanius | Indeed |
| HM Alexander I | I think the fundamental problem with the forums is the permissions, I can correct those quickly |
| stakor2000 | what was discussed |
| Vulstanius | Ah, Count, can you see me now? |
| HM Alexander I | Nothing, we waited for you |
| stakor2000 | Yes |
| Vulstanius | Excellent |
| HM Alexander I | Oh yeah, can you see me as well? |
| stakor2000 | How many are there |
| HM Alexander I | 3 total, counting you me and his Grace |
| stakor2000 | ok |
| Vulstanius | Well now that that is sorted out |
| stakor2000 | thanks |
| HM Alexander I | EXCELLENT! I command all references to the connection problem be stricken. |
| HM Alexander I | I believe the forums will be fixed, in terms of visibility, in a few moments |
| Vulstanius | Excellent |
| Vulstanius | Did Your Majesty have anything to discuss? |
| HM Alexander I | Not so much discuss, as report. |
| stakor2000 | Ok |
| HM Alexander I | I have found that people in SL are as I expected, open to the idea of the Kingdom. I have found then eager to be involved. |
| HM Alexander I | I believe SL can be a fantastic tool for reaching people who will be active in the Kingdom, both in SL and out. |
| Vulstanius | Did Your majesty get that article about Preaching the Gospel in SL I sent you? |
| HM Alexander I | I did, thank you. That is just another data point to confirm the theory that SL is more than just an interesting game. |
| stakor2000 | I agree it is a whole lot more than that |
| HM Alexander I | I have met people who are very interested in all things Royal, and I believe would be happy to join our cause. |
| HM Alexander I | One very positive aspect of SL is that all new folks start with essentially nothing. I believe we can use this effectively. |
| Vulstanius | I agree |
| HM Alexander I | We can grant something like provisional citizenship to those who wish to use Kingdom land to build things. |
| HM Alexander I | And charge them minimal rents |
| HM Alexander I | The idea is not to make money |
| HM Alexander I | But to get them involved |
| Vulstanius | And Prince Justin, is working on a few new possible citizens |
| HM Alexander I | Once someone has started building, they will, of course, want more. |
| stakor2000 | the fees should be applied toward the costs |
| HM Alexander I | Then we have their emotional investment. |
| HM Alexander I | Count, clearly. |
| HM Alexander I | I think the best would be to purchase an entire SIM, but I'm afraid I cannot afford that at this time. |
| stakor2000 | What would an entire SIM consist of? |
| stakor2000 | would it basically be SL for Hanover in its own world? |
| HM Alexander I | A SIM is one island block of the SL virtual world. |
| stakor2000 | Ok |
| HM Alexander I | it's square |
| HM Alexander I | The costs are astronomical, so I believe it's all just a fancy dream at the moment. But we can still atract people without a whole sim. |
| stakor2000 | The sim would be for the large scale production of the Kingdom I assume |
| HM Alexander I | Well, it would offer us the room to have a proper palace, and common areas, and give a nice midevil theme to it. Sure, Hanover is in the now, but we hold lots of old traditions, so why not an old look at well? |
| stakor2000 | I just wish I was able to participate |
| HM Alexander I | Me too. It would be better, but we all have our limits I suppose. |
| HM Alexander I | I think his Grace has fallen asleep! |
| stakor2000 | maybe they will adapt it for the IPod |
| Vulstanius | I'm sorry |
| Vulstanius | I got a phone call |
| stakor2000 | no problem |
| Vulstanius | Terribly, sorry |
| HM Alexander I | Don't they know you're before the Throne?!? |
| Vulstanius | Apparently not |
| Vulstanius | But I'm back now |
| stakor2000 | to the gallows with the lot |
| HM Alexander I | Shall I have them sent to the Tower? |
| stakor2000 | Only if I can do experiments on them |
| Vulstanius | Perhaps |
| HM Alexander I | We should create a forum "The Tower" that is the only place people can post if they are convited of crimes in Hanover |
| Vulstanius | Although he wouldn't be a very good PM if he was stuck in the Tower... |
| HM Alexander I | He's done it before |
| stakor2000 | I just use telepathy |
| HM Alexander I | What news from Lord Oldenburg? |
| stakor2000 | Aunt infestation? |
| HM Alexander I | Clever |
| Vulstanius | He says in responce to your statement about "Throwing him in the Tower" that he has a nice shiny brass plaque with "Lord Protector Oldenburg" on it and that Your Majesty might want to read a biography of Charles the I... |
| stakor2000 | thank you? |
| stakor2000 | There might be protection from the restless Germanic sorts from the backwater areas. |
| HM Alexander I | Yes yes, always with the threats. |
| stakor2000 | Long live the Furst von Silesia... I mean the King of Hanover |
| HM Alexander I | I can see this court session has degenerated. |
| stakor2000 | Thats half the fun |
| stakor2000 | Well the forums are up |
| HM Alexander I | For the moment |
| Vulstanius | He wishes to remind Your Majesty that he cannot be lead to the gallows becasue he's a Peer and that it will have to be execution by the sword and that he will be very cross if he's lead to the gallows and he will complain endlessly |
| HM Alexander I | Very well, release the whiner |
| HM Alexander I | And tell him we miss him terribly tonight. |
| stakor2000 | unwillingly |
| HM Alexander I | Your Grace, when does your class session resume? |
| Vulstanius | Lord Oldenburg is now relaying to me about the very first Royal Court session and how there was 5 minutes of serious conversation and then Prince Justin started talking about tots and it went on for three hours |
| Vulstanius | My classes resume the first week of Semptember |
| HM Alexander I | Saddly, he is right. Damn those tots. |
| Vulstanius | Indeed |
| stakor2000 | lets feed them tots to the potato eats |
| HM Alexander I | And to make matters worse, he continues to assert that I'm the mad one! |
| stakor2000 | You are |
| stakor2000 | the scary part is that I am the sane one. |
| HM Alexander I | Maybe, but it's plain rude to say it |
| stakor2000 | I apologize but I thought everyone expected the brutal honesty from Laitenburgh |
| Vulstanius | Lord Oldenburg suggests we start to call Prince Justin by his old nickname, namely George III |
| HM Alexander I | This is most stange, a digital conversation via phone. |
| Vulstanius | Indeed |
| Vulstanius | He's quite vexed that he can't be here |
| HM Alexander I | You can tell him that the Kingdom will survive long enough for him to once again be PM |
| stakor2000 | if it falls apart in 3 day i will be in shock |
| Vulstanius | Luckily he says that he doesn't actually have anything to discuss really |
| HM Alexander I | Gotzborg took less |
| stakor2000 | really? |
| Vulstanius | And he also says that the Kingdom will collapse after he becomes PM |
| HM Alexander I | That may be the case |
| stakor2000 | I assume that mean the the Furstenstum needs to seperate its foundation form the rest |
| HM Alexander I | Well, one day Gtozborg was there, the next it was gone |
| stakor2000 | It a shame. |
| stakor2000 | it was one of the longer lasting one |
| HM Alexander I | Yeah, in terms of Longevity Hanover is positively ancient |
| stakor2000 | 4 years? |
| HM Alexander I | yes, 5 in November |
| stakor2000 | i noticed that hallf of the nobility is royal |
| HM Alexander I | happens |
| Vulstanius | Inddeed Hanover is rather ancient |
| HM Alexander I | Tots |
| stakor2000 | mighty tasty |
| Vulstanius | I like mine with a bit of mayonaisse like the French |
| Vulstanius | Not really though |
| HM Alexander I | Well, it seems we are out of topics, as even tots hardly generates a response. Your Grace, if you would close the session for us. |
| Vulstanius | It is a bit silly that there are only 1 or 2 commoners |
| HM Alexander I | Working on it |
| Vulstanius | Uno momento pro favor |
| HM Alexander I | ok |
| Vulstanius | por* |
| HM Alexander I | Si |
| stakor2000 | Da |
| Vulstanius | Shall we end with a prayer? |
| HM Alexander I | Please |
| Vulstanius | Pax vobiscum |
| HM Alexander I | Et cum spiritu tuo |
| Vulstanius | Oremus |
| Vulstanius | Da, Domine, propitius pacem in diebus nostris, ut, ope misericordiae tuae adiuti, et a peccato simus semper liberi et ab omni perturbatione securi. Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen. |
| Vulstanius | Benedicat + vos omnipotens Deus; Pater, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. |
| HM Alexander I | + Amen |
| Vulstanius | Your Majesty, my Lords and Gentlemen, I have the honor to declare this session of the Royal Court adjourned. God Save the King! |
