IOANNES FRANCIS APODELIUS Dei Providentia Archiepiscopus Bergensis et Hanoverae Primatus, omnibus ad quos praesentes litterae pervenerint, suo salutem!
Following in the venerable and ancient Tradition of the Christian Church let it be known that We, Ioannes, by Divine Providence, Lord Archbishop of Hanover and Primate of Bergen, take the name Wulfstan or Vulstanius in the Latin tongue. We do this so that there is a visible sign for Us, and for all, of Our commitment to the Administration of the Church of Hanover and that We do pledge to execute this Holy Office to the best of Our ability.
Therefore let it be known that in all correspondence, official documents, and in all other mentions to the Archiepiscopal See of Bergen, the name Wulfstan or Vulstanius is to be used in reference to Us.
Given by Our hand this Eighteenth day of July, in the Fourth Year of Reign of our Gracious Sovereign, King Alexander the First, the Year of our Lord Two-thousand and Seven.
