The Hanoverian Standard Time Act 2007

An Act to establish United States Eastern Standard Time as the official time zone of the Kingdom.

Whereas Hanoverian Standard Time is currently co-ordinated with the Greenwich time meridian, despite the fact that only one subject of the Crown resides near the said meridian;

Be it therefore enacted by the King's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Hanoverian Standard Time Act 2007.

2. Hanoverian Standard Time ("HST") shall be co-ordinated with and identical to the time as established by the United States of America for the Eastern North American time zone.

3. HST shall be employed for scheduling all official functions in the Kingdom. Where no time zone is given, in shall be assumed that times are given in HST.
