ALEXANDER by the Grace of God King of Hanover, Supreme Governor of the Church of Hanover, Defender of the Faith to all Archbishops, Dukes, Marquesses, Counts, Viscounts, Bishops, Barons, Knights, Justices, Ministers and all other Our faithful Subjects Greeting:
LET IT BE KNOWN that We do by these Presents create, erect, and appoint Our right trusty and right entirely beloved cousin and counsellor, Justin Leopold Albert Christian George Prince of Hanover and Duke of Guelph, Our Prince of Emden;
AND WE DO ennoble and invest with the said Principality by girting him with a sword by putting a Coronet on his head and a gold ring on his finger.
AND WE DO FURTHER by these Presents enjoin and command that in right of the same See he shall be accounted as the first amongst all of the Princes within Our Kingdom of Hanover, inferior only to Us; And We do confer upon him the usage of the style of His Royal Highness the Prince of Emden, and we do further enjoin that Our loving subjects shall address him always by the style of Royal Highness.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF We have caused these Our Letters to made Patent, WITNESS Ourself at Our Court of Saint George's Palace, this First day of January in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Seven, and in the FourthYear of Our Reign.
