The King and Royal Family were distressed to learn the passing of former U.S. President Gerald Ford. The Ford family remain in the Royal family's thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in their lives. Out of respect, Hanoverians are urged to lower flags to half-mast until the day after the former President's funeral.
