Full Version: Party Motto

Well, the Conservatives have come up with a suitably stodgy Latin motto, and I wonder if we might not begin to consider what our own will be. I propose that it be in English, for one, and that it should truly encapsulate what the Party stands for.

In my opinion, the Party stands for action, for progress, for adaptability and for the perpetual continuation of Parliamentary government. Liberals ought to, in my opinion, be squarely opposed to a return of autocracy and we ought to be always in favour of government acting on the level. Girded with the apron of industry, we should, with trowel in hand, build and solidify in the hearts and minds of the people that grand old idea that Parliament must always be supreme in Hanover.

Hanover's promise lies in our renewed resolve to keep parliamentary rule alive and healthy so that the process of governing the kingdom will always be an inclusive and interesting one, attracting newcomers and maintaining the lively interest of those already here.

May I propose this motto, then:

The Liberal Party: "Renewing Hanover's Promise."

I deeply share His Royal Highness' sentiments upon the direction of the party being to oppose a return to autocracy, and I will note that I support the proposed motto.
I too endorse the proposed motto.
