I just noticed that we have a new addition to our national website, a Visitor's Centre welcoming, uh, visitors, to Hanover, designed by our very own Duke of Marchmain.
And very nice it is too, Jamex, although I can't help but notice that the slogan is rather similar to the one you used for Morovia... (Did you think I'd get throug a whole post without any criticism?!)
Of course not, Thomax. Nevertheless, your criticism comes rather late. From the very beginning the phrase "Hanover. Yours to discover" was displayed beneath the Prime Minister's name (yours, at one point) on the Naturalization page. "Yours to discover" (stolen from Ontario license plates ;-) was, indeed, the very slogan I used on my Morovian webpage.
I've noticed that recently, the slogan was changed to "Yours to explore", and so I used that instead. I toyed with the idea of employing the slogan "That having been said...", as I know your fondness for it, but the poetry just wasn't there.
Although I designed this page, the initiative behind this helpful service was His Majesty's and I am honoured that he asked me to serve the kingdom in this capacity. I hope many individuals surfing the net will chance upon our website and take the time to explore Hanover.
Now all of that having been said, I can't find the page. Where did you see it, Thomas?
Strange. I just don't see a "Visitor's Center" link anywhere, unless the link at the top of this board is taking me to an non-updated version of the site.
The link at the top of the board takes me to the right place. THe Visitors Center link is in the list on the left hand side, under "Constitution" and "Heraldry".
How bizarre. The link doesn't appear at all when I go to the website.
I reckon it's something to do with your Internet Options. You must have selected that pages will only refresh when you reset your computer, or something like that. The only problem is I can't remember where to find those particular options... You're Internet Explorer, right?
Maybe if you try going to the page (kingdomofhanover.com) and click refresh?
Duke,
Refresh the page. It maybe cached somewhere.
Regards,
HM Alexander of Hanover
