The Royal family implores both sides of the conflict now escalating out of control in Lebanon and Israel to agree to an immediate cease-fire and to resume meaningful peace negotiations.
The right of Israel to defend itself and be free from terrorist attacks is, of course, supported completely by the Royal family, as is the right to self determination claimed by the Palestinian people.
This continued violence does nothing to reach either goal on a long-term basis.
