... a new micronational newspaper, which features Hanover on the front page in its second issue. Check out Eoin Dornan's (he's the leader of Treesia, for those of you who don't venture out to ezboards much any more) Apollo Furball. Don't be put off by the "Apollo" title - it's really quite sensible. It follows in the tradition of Scott Siskind's (who you may have seen around here in the last few days) Apollo Fireball and Apollo Skyline newspapers, famous throughout the microworld.

Now for the second issue, which is related (honest). It appears that foreign journalists (and other people who haven't registered here) cannot see our Parliament forum. I don't know if that is a deliberate thing or not, or even if it is true. Could His Majesty shed any light on this?
Duke of Brunswick,

At the moment, only citizens can see the Special Parliament's forum. Do you think this should be changed?

Regards,
HM Alexander of Hanover
"Or in reference to Prince Justin thinking of High King as a pothead. We could be Hempshire" - Ostensibly one of the greatest micronational quotes ever.

From the Apollo Furball. I don't remember who said taht but you made the greatest quote ever lol!
Your Majesty, as a semi outsider here in Hanover, it may look to some people that there is less going on here than really is. Whether for good or bad, many visitors and prospective citizens who come by guage their first impressions on the activity on the forums, looks of the forums, whether the information and direction is up-to-date etc. When this is not the case, the nation looks dull, dead or otherwise distasteful.

I would respectfully suggest that strong priority be given to 'looks' as it is usually the first impression formed of a micronation.

Respectfully,
I recommend that the Parliament be open for viewing as long as the postights are restricted to Parliament members
Would allowing non-citizens to view the activities of Parliament require an act of Parliament?
I don't need to read into the parliament, I just meant more knowing it was there and seeing activity. Getting into it is not necessary I think, its just the perception.
I think it would be nice for non-citizens to view the Parliament. Just my two cents.
Isn't Balty everywhere these days smilie

While I am all for Parliament being open for public viewing - it may be best if an Parliament decides this on her own unless the King wants to use those nice executive powers of his : smilie
Yes. I would encorage my representatives in Parliament to alter their rules, so that the forum is open to viewing by all - although of course the policy of only MPs speaking unless someone else is specifically invited must continue.

Even if that doesn't happen, would it be possible to have the Parliament forum closed to viewers, but still be visible, with the latest post information and such, on the forum listing screen?
