Friends,

I have spoken many times about my vision for a united Hanover/Pendronia Empire. Many of us are very much interested in exploring this possibility.

I, like many people, work best from a visual model.

When I talk of unification and empire, I mean it in a very real and tangible way. NOT just some nice treaty and a few elections, but in every way a melding of the two nations.

The most obvious place to start is the forums. These get the most use out of both of our nations.

HOW MIGHT THE FORUMS LOOK IN A UNIFIED EMPIRE?

I have created an example of integrating the forums of Pendronia and Hanover into a unified system. You can see, at the top just under the logo, a link to our "sister Kingdom". Click it to see what it might look like if Pendronians were to share this forum. Then click it again to come back!

This demonstration should show a few points to weigh when discussing the possibilities of our empire, a few of which I list here:
[list]
[*]This system retains the look and feel of both nations<>
[*]This is a fully integrated system. Your ID is exactly the same in both forums. This integration will naturally extend to all services<>
[*]This system is easy to maintain, despite it's flexibility<>
[*]The days of ezBoard having control of our systems would be finished<>
[st]
I must point out, that this WOULD require Pendronia to migrate to this system. However, I do not see this as a problem. First, we wouldn't do it until a unification was complete. Second, Pendronia has already migrated forums once and survived nicely. Third, I will facilitate any migration, drawing upon my experience with the Hanover migration.

I hope you receive this demonstration as a glimpse of the wondrous possibilities our two nations could share by joining forces.

Regargs,
HM Alexander of Hanover
Well done, Your Majesty. I hope our Pendronian cousins will have no qualms about moving there. This will be a great step forward in uniting the two nations.
Duke of Brunswick,

Oh no, I expect they will have MANY qualms about it. I would. All we can do is reassure them of a few solid facts:

1) They can always go back
2) I'm Pendronian, and I'll not let her down

Regards,
HM Alexander of Hanover
