<div style="text-align:center"><strong>WE, JAMES I</strong>, by the Grace of God King of Hanover, do now name, establish and create of our own authority the following principalities, three in total, by which the Kingdom of Hanover is divided:



1. The Principality of Emden

2. The Principality of Valsinore

3. The Principality of Welland



In like manner we do hereby name, create and establish six duchies by which the Principalities are divided:



1. The Duchy of Brunswick

2. The Duchy of Guelph

3. The Duchy of Gottingen

4. The Duchy of Harburg

5. The Duchy of Huntington

6. The Duchy of Claremont



It is our will and pleasure that these political divisions and subdivisions of the kingdom be given cartographical definition in future as circumstances warrant.</div>
