Friends,

As big star wars fans the Royal Family including Princess Britanny, as well as Sir Keating who flew in from California for the event, went to see the latest and likely last of the Star Wars films.

We all agreed the film was fantastic! We highly recommend it to anyone, except those under about 14 because it is a very dark film. How could it not be? The major theme is the transition of a Jedi into Darth Vader.

The movie expertly ties in Episodes I and II with IV, V and VI.

Go enjoy it!

lets see if they come out with VII, VIII and IX now
WOW! i cant wait to see it! smilie
I've been wanting to for a long time, i have been waiting for it to come out!
It was the worst of the 6.
I thought it was better than the other two prequels, if only because the whole story is much more recognisable, and the kind of grand sweep of history is much more visible. I do think they really buggered up the Darth-Vader/Luke/Leia birth scenes, though. That should have been the climax, but instead it was ridiculous (Nooooooo!).

There have been some really interesting posts on the internet recently about who are the real good-guys in Star Wars. If you watch the films from the Imperial perspective, it really adds a different level. http://www.marginalrevolution.com/marginal...ublic_choi.html

EDIT: Oh, and also, did anyone else find those eighties-style "fancy cuts" really, really annoying? (You know, where the screen kinda looks like one of those rotating billboards with like five "slats" that wipe across to reveal the next scene? Not described too well I know.)
Really, it was the worst of the 6? Hmm... I wanted to go see it this weekend...
Yes those scene changes were all George Lucas's fault, they have been in every Atar Wars movie.

Other than thet there were a lot of glitches if you cal them that, and I personally didnt like the story line.

If you rememper in the very end where the emporer, Darth Vader, and Grand Marth Tarkin (the ship commander guy, the guy Darth Vader chokes in the 4th movie) are standing on the bridge of a star destroyer. the scene flashes and grand marth Tarkin dissapears completly, really bad if I do say so myself.
