As the year 2003 draws to a close I am, like many of you, taking a moment to retrospect upon the year.

What happend in 2003?

What was good?
What was bad?
What sticks out and says "This is important" to you?

I believe a photo is worth at least 1,000 words. Rather that bore you with many thousands of words I'm going to try to pick a few of the photos that capture the essence of 2003.
