Did I hear something about HM having surgury?????
Mr. Buechner,

Ever the diplomat eh?

Yes, We have been under the knife lately and are recovering well. We made it 38 years before ever needing surgery, and We are hoping for another 38 before needing it again.

Regards,
HM Alexander of All Hanover
GOD SAVE THE KING!

GOD SAVE THE KING!

GOD SAVE THE KING!

We all wish Your Majesty a speedy and full recovery.
Good Evening To You, My Gentle Friends,

It has come to my attention that His Majesty has had a surgical procedure performed . . .

NOW, I can tell you from personal experience, that surgical procedures are a tad bit painful - no, I will correct that - they are extremely painful. I have had more than my share of surgical procedures, and they ain't fun. It doesn't matter if it is an outpatient minor surgery, or a ten-hour major surgery - the patient is in agony. Depending upon what is done, the amount of agony is debatable . . .

When one has pain from a certain medical condtion, and this is treated with a procedure, there is usually pain control administered, which should help considerably.

I would assume that His Majesty has had the benefit of such pain control, and hopefully, this will give him much relief. This is purely standard "operating procedure after surgery" . . .

SO, that being said, Your Majesty, we are certainly glad that you have seen your procedure through, and that you are back home, and hopefully, resting comfortably . . . Don't forget - take your pain medication when you are supposed to take it . . . If you wait until longer than you are supposed to, your pain level will increase, and that is not good. So, take your medication on time, and your pain level will decreae quickly . . .

Also, drink plenty of fluids, and get your rest. Your Majesty . . .

We need you to be back to your usual self - but all in good time - don't rush anything . . .

Have an absolutely splendiferous evening . . .
Umm normally in surgury they put you to sleep so you dont feel anything.

Diplomat you say??? I think not. Spy, yes.
Mr. Buechner,

Yes, We discovered the joy of sodium pentathol... lovely stuff.

BUT, the post op is where the pain begins. At this point it is all but finished. Stitches coming out friday.

Regards,
HM Alexander of All Hanover
