the House of Gagarin
Your Majesty,
Might I implore as to the origins of the name of the new Royal House of Hanover? I appreciated your story regarding your regnal name and assume that a lot of thought went into the Gagarin name, as well. Thanks a lot, Your Majesty

Re: the House of Gagarin
Sir Frederick Ness,
I had expected this question to come up, and your supposition is correct, I did put plenty of thought into this choice.
The name is Russian in origin, and it encapsulates eveything I hope to bring to Hanover.
However, the reasons for that name will have to remain my own. I hope that does not disappoint you greatly.
Regards,

No, but more importantly he was the first Soviet in space. And a national hero beyond anything we know.

Gentlemen
I wouldn't draw any conclusions, I am sure that there were more Gagarin's than the astronaut. It is a nice name too.
