I'm not sure if anyone else saw, but the following appeared in the "Delphi Says" box on the Antican website yesterday:

"When I woke up today, seeing penis was not on my itinerary." - Octavius

I for one was very offended at this statement, as were some other people. The word "penis" is perfectly appropriate when used in an appropriate, serious context and not in slang, as are other sexual terms. However, when you take the word and use it in a joking context in a clearly visible area on a completely public forum, that is just plain rude. Not only that, the leader of any micronation that wishes to be taken seriously should not be making sexually explicit comments on the national website.

As I commented in Antica, we have grounds for a macronational lawsuit in that comment. However, I (obviously) do not wish to deal with that (imagine...Your Honor, What a micronation is.... *continues explaining for several hours before judge bangs gavel* Counsellor, please take your seat. Mr. Marshall, escort this man to the mental hospital!) and since Antica's judicial system is under restructuring I do not wish to trouble them with a lawsuit there. However, I would encourage all of you to boycott Antica in the coming days. Let's show Mr. Augustus that we will not tolerate such sexually explicit conduct.
Sorry, but I personally don't believe that there is a lawsuit in that statement.

It must be accepted that some leaders have a different idea and philosophy of leadership. Some may be responsible, and some, according to others, may be irresponsible.

Would a French citizen have grounds for a lawsuit if he heard one of our leaders drop the "F bomb"? Certainly not.

Yours Most Truly,
I'm not talking about this as the subject of a lawsuit. I have explained how it could be grounds for a lawsuit in the Antican forum, though, if you're interested. However, surely you do not think that such explicity is acceptable?
Well, it is certainly quite lewd, but I fail to see why it could have grounds for a lawsuit. I shall look at your post to see your reasoning. It is unacceptable, however, so of course the person should be publicly reprimanded, perhaps, for his transgression. But surely no lawsuit is merited.

Well, it wasn't on my itinerary, either, but things just work out that way sometimes. It's been a wonderful day ever since.

<_<
Why would anyone even write that?
I wondered the same thing, M.P. Beuchner?
