Getting back on topic...
We had a "To-Do" list floating around at one point, with a short list of things citizens could do for Hanover. That's something we should resurrect for the Hanover Portal page (which is itself near the top of my "To-Do" list).

Would you care to explain what the "portal" is for me?

Sure. I think it was Kieran who mentioned, a short while before I went on holiday, that although we have the national website up and running now, what we still need is a kind of "homepage" which Hanoverian citizens can use to access any part of Hanover's web domains. There are lots of different pages and areas to our site which are unconnected to each other.
The "portal" would be designed in a similar way to other "homepages" (like the Yahoo one or the MSN one), including latest Hanoverian news and updates, and then links to all the different things (e.g. the Welcome website, the Government website, the forums, archives, and all the different games and tools we have online). I think it might be a good idea to have a "To-Do" list right there on that page.

Yes, I like both the portal idea and the to do list idea. Thanks for explaining.
