The Hon. M.P. Beuchner is convinced that I shall live in Athenoi, yet I am insistent about Calormen or Emden. So, I'd like to start a little contest here.

The Carson Smith Residence Contest

What is this?
It is a contest to involve a representative of all three dominions. They will make the strongest case they can for me to reside in their dominion. I will consider the three arguments and make my decision from there where to reside.

Who can participate?
Only the legate of each dominion or an appointed representative may make the argument. Each dominion is allowed only one argument. Legates, if you will be appointing someone else to make your argument, please let know BEFORE February 25.

Where do I put my argument?
Put it on a website (I am sure the Ministry of the Treasury would be happy to provide you with hosting.) and post the web address in this thread.

What is the deadline?
Entries will begin being accepted immediately. The deadline if February 25 at 7 P.M. U.S. Eastern Standard Time.

Why should I do this?
It's a good chance to pick up an extra resident for your dominion, who I can promise will be very dedicated. Not only that, you may pick up some other residents because you will be posting your argument here. I may even post the arguments in my micronational newspaper I have started, The Micronational View . Additionally, it's going to generate some excitement.

How do I enter?
Each entrant needs to provide some sort of argument for their dominion, be it an essay, a graphic display, whatever.

Good luck!

Well, I've yet to see it used by someone else here in Hanover, but in Britain, M.P. is the form of address for a member of the House of Commons: it stands for Member of Parliament. If that is not the correct form of address, I stand corrected, but what is the proper form?
Member of Parliament.

I am going to see if Mr. Evereste can make an argument, as he seems to be the most wordy of all residents of Athenoi.

Or perhaps I can count on Mme. Rosalie on giving an extremely happy report on the merits of Athenoi?
Mr. Harvey,

I am glad to hear that Athenoi will be participating in the contest. However, please keep in mind that only one argument may be submitted for each dominion, and the name of this one person needs to be sent to me.
I did, in my post, use the word "Or".

Which means that ~either~ Monsieur Bennet ~or~ Madame Rosalie Sluss would be submitting an argument. I will of course submit my decision as to who will argue for Athenoi quite soon.

Cordially,
Mr. Harvey,

I apologize for the confusion. Thank you.
Actually, M. Smith, I must apologize.

I am sure that my previous post seemed confrontational. I humbly apologise if you took offence.

Cordialement,

Son Excellence Jean d'Athenoi
Apology accepted, Mr. Harvey. I look forward to working with you!

Wow, another Francophile in micronationalism! Boy, is this the place for me!
Athenoi is of course the nation's Francophile center.
