Issuances from Calormen House
Whereas by certain Letters Patent under the Great Seal of Calormen bearing date at Bergen, the Second day of November, 2003, His late Imperial Majesty James the First did constitute, order, and declare that there should be a Governor General and Commander-in-Chief in and over Calormen, and that the person filling the office of Governor General and Commander-in-Chief should be from time to time appointed by Commission under the Royal Sign Manual and Signet.
Whereas by the Second Clause of the said Letters Patent, His Imperial Majesty did authorize and empower the Governor-General, with the advice of His Imperial Majesty's Privy Council for Calormen or of any members thereof or individually, as the case requires, to exercise all powers and authorities lawfully belonging to His Imperial Majesty in respect of Calormen, and all things that may belong to the said office and to the trust reposed in him according to the several powers and authorities granted or appointed him and the powers and authorities hereinafter conferred in the said Letters Patent and in such Commission as may be issued to him under the Great Seal of Calormen and under such laws as are or may hereinafter be in force in Calormen.
Whereas by the Eleventh Clause of the said Letters Patent, His Imperial Majesty did authorize and require the Governor-General from time to time, by himself or any other person to be authorized by him in that behalf, to administer to all and to every person or persons, as he shall think fit, who shall hold any office or place of trust or profit in Calormen, that said Oath of Allegiance, together with such other Oath or Oaths as may be from time to time be prescribed by any Laws or Statutes in that behalf made and provided.
Whereas it has pleased His Imperial Majesty to appoint Our Trusty and Well-beloved Self to the position of Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Empire of Calormen;
We command and do hereby appoint
to His Imperial Majesty's Privy Council for Calormen, provided that prior to their execution of office they shall take the Oath of Allegiance in the form following:-"I, ................. do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Imperial Majesty, Thomas the First, Emperor of Calormen, His Heirs and successors, according to law. So Help me God."
WITNESS Our Trusty and Well-beloved His Excellency Sir Christopher Wyndham, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the Act, Recipient of the Most Excellent Order of the Kingdom of Hanover, Member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Hanover; Governor-General of the Empire of Calormen, at Calormen House, Bergen, Emden, this seventeenth day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Three and in the second year of His Imperial Majesty's Reign.

Geographical Divisions within Calormen

Whereas it has pleased His Imperial Majesty to appoint Our Trusty and Well-beloved Self to the position of Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Empire of Calormen;
We command and do now name, establish and create the following geographical divisions within the Empire of Calormen:
I. The territories constituting the Earldoms of Archenland, Terebinithia, and Corona, bestowed by His late Imperial Majesty Christopher the First, and held by His Imperial Majesty Thomas the First, and in chief by Our right trusty and entirely beloved cousins Daniel Dreesbach and Scott Siskind, respectively, shall now and forevermore constitute the Oblast of Greater Muscovy. Title to the foregoing fiefs shall remain with his Imperial Majesty, and be held in stewardship, unless otherwise declared, with the respective Earls.
II. The settlement constituting the chief town within the Earldom of Archenland is hereby named Milyukovsk, and the same shall constitute the regional capital of Greater Muscovy.
III. Other settlements and territories not yet surveyed by His Imperial Majesty's officials or subjects shall constitute the Oblast of Lesser Muscovy. Until otherwise designated, the regional capital of Lesser Muscovy shall be the settlement of Tashbaan.
IV. The settlement of Tashbaan by the Five Lions River is hereby raised to borough status. His Imperial Majesty's subject known as Rakesh, late of the Shanashanshah's domains, is hereby named and appointed as its Khedive, with all powers to govern it, not inconsistent with Hanoverian law, in the manner of his people.

To take command of and require the willing assistance any of His Imperial Majesty's Officers or subjects claiming residence in Calormen, and to immediately conduct a survey of standard geographical boundaries currently recognized by the residents of the same, including but not limited to the names and bounds of towns, cities, castles, ports, provinces, lands, and other messuages or tenements within His Imperial Majesty's domains in Calormen.
II.To Submit a clear and concise report of the foregoing results as soon as possible to the Imperial Privy Council for Calormen, with offices at the quarters for the Royal Nationhood Commission, Bergen, Emden.
III.To be consulted on further geographical matters pertaining to the Empire of Calormen by the Imperial Privy Council for Calormen or such other Royal or Imperial officials as may be necessary.

Whereas by the Second Clause of the said Letters Patent, His Imperial Majesty did authorize and empower the Governor-General, with the advice of His Imperial Majesty's Privy Council for Calormen or of any members thereof or individually, as the case requires, to exercise all powers and authorities lawfully belonging to His Imperial Majesty in respect of Calormen, and all things that may belong to the said office and to the trust reposed in him according to the several powers and authorities granted or appointed him and the powers and authorities hereinafter conferred in the said Letters Patent and in such Commission as may be issued to him under the Great Seal of Calormen and under such laws as are or may hereinafter be in force in Calormen.
Whereas by the Seventh Clause of the said Letters Patent, His Imperial Majesty did authorize the Governor-General to appoint any person or persons, jointly or severally, to be his Deputy or Deputies within any part or parts of Calormen, and in that capacity to exercise, during the pleasure of the Governor-General, such of the powers, authorities, and functions of the Governor-General as he may deem it necessary or expedient to assign to such Deputy or Deputies, subject to any limitations or directions from time to time expressed or given by His Imperial Majesty; and whereas His Imperial Majesty did authorize and empower the Governor-General, subject to such limitations or directions, to appoint any person or persons, jointly or severally, to be his Deputy or Deputies within any part or parts of Calormen, and in that capacity to exercise, during the pleasure of the Governor-General, such of the powers, authorities, and functions of the Governor-General as he may deem it necessary or expedient to assign to him or them: Provided always, that the appointment of such a Deputy or Deputies shall not affect the exercise of any such power, authority or function by the Governor-General.
We command and do hereby appoint the Right trusty and well-beloved Daniel, the Earl of Terebinithia, to the office and position of Imperial Surveyor-General, with powers, duties, and responsibilities as follows:
I. To take command of and require the willing assistance any of His Imperial Majesty's Officers or subjects claiming residence in Calormen, and to immediately conduct a survey of standard geographical boundaries currently recognized by the residents of the same, including but not limited to the names and bounds of towns, cities, castles, ports, provinces, lands, and other messuages or tenements within His Imperial Majesty's domains in Calormen.
II.To Submit a clear and concise report of the foregoing results as soon as possible to the Imperial Privy Council for Calormen, with offices at the quarters for the Royal Nationhood Commission, Bergen, Emden.
III.To be consulted on further geographical matters pertaining to the Empire of Calormen by the Imperial Privy Council for Calormen or such other Royal or Imperial officials as may be necessary.
WITNESS Our Trusty and Well-beloved His Excellency Sir Christopher Wyndham, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the Act, Recipient of the Most Excellent Order of the Kingdom of Hanover, Member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Hanover; Governor-General of the Empire of Calormen, at Calormen House, Bergen, Emden, this eighteenth day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Three and in the second year of His Imperial Majesty's Reign.
