Victory for Hanover
Brunswick Hanoverian FC, your local team in the English Micronational Soccer League, beat Houdon Arsenal 2-0 in yesterday's game. That's our first win of the season, leaving us with one win, one draw and one defeat, and exactly half way up the table. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START

Each team manager decides how to spread 30 points between the Defence, Midfield and Attack for each game. Then there's a formula for working out how many goal opportunities, and thus goals, are scored by each team. Before the match is played, only the team manager himself knows how he has arranged his points, so it's all about second-guessing the oponent.

Re: Victory for Hanover
So there is no football actually played? It seems to be all based on luck.

Sir Frederick Ness,
Luck, like live action sports, obviously plays a role. However, if I understand it correctly, their is a skill in picking the right combination that will maximize your chances of winning.

Re: Victory for Hanover
Exactly. Just like in a real game of football, the team manager just picks the team, and after that it's down to how the two sides match up.
