Letters Patent: Wyndham Governor-General of Calormen
TR
Thomas, By the Grace of God Emperor of Calormen to our most loyal and esteemed subject Sir Christopher Wyndham and All Others to Whom these Presents shall come, Greeting.
WHEREAS We have, by Letters Patent issued the second day of February 2003, constituted the office of Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of Calormen,
WHEREAS We desire that all Our loving subjects in the Empire of Calormen be justly and competently governed,
WHEREAS Our esteemed Royal Cousin Christopher, being absent, is no longer competent to fulfil his duty in this respect,
WEHEREAS Sir Christopher Wyndham hasd indicated a desire to serve Us and the people of Calormen as Governor-General,
NOW it is Our Will and Pleasure that our most loyal and esteemed subject Sir Christopher Wyndham should hold the office and position of Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of Calormen to rule there in Our name and under Our authority provided that nothing is done contrary to the Laws Statutes and Constitutions of this Our Realm AND WE COMMAND that he shall retain the post of Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief of Calormen until Our further pleasure is signified.
In Witness whereof We have caused these Our Letters Patent to be published and have caused Our Imperial Seal of Calormen to be hereunto affixed.
Given at Bergen on this Sixteenth day of November in the Year of Grace 2003, the First year of Our Reign.[/font][/center]

Oath of Office (as required by Letters Patent)
I, Christopher Wyndham, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the Act, Recipient of the Most Excellenct Order of Hanover, Member of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Hanover
do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty, Thomas the First, Emperor of Calormen, His Heirs and successors, according to law. So Help me God.
DONE at Calormen House in the Royal City of Bergen, Principality of Emden this Seventeenth Day of November, Two Thousand and Three, at 7 of the clock, A.M..
