From the Church In Vatican City, Rome

Quote:I, Pope Cedric I, of the Holy Roman Catholic Church of Micronations;

Wishing peace upon all the loyal subjects of the Church, and Church's God, calling upon each in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit to rise to this occassion and serve the Church of the Our Lady Maria. Children of Christ, hear my words pleading for Our Lady of the Rosary, Our Holy Mother in Christ, Our Celestial Queen: Come to the aide of thy Church and serve it. Those who wish to truly be for the usage of the Church, I call upon you and your hearts of goodness to the Priesthood. To the Bishophood. To those of you who are already in marriage, but still wish to serve the Holy Mother Church; I await to see you as ordained Deacons.

Leaders of the Micronational World: I wish thee peace, and the mercy of God, and His Holyness at thy favor at all times; that you may serve the Church as well and accept the most Holy Honours the Church wishes to bestow publicly upon those leaders who have shown either

Most Excellent! I support this new micronational church most wholeheartedly.

However, this is a bit much:
Quote:From the Church In Vatican City, Rome

For a second, I thought the Holy Father died when I saw that title, and I thought you were just conveying a message that the Holy See had given, or a news article. Then I read the Cedric.
My apologies my son, I did not mean to frighten you.
I do not think I will support this at all.
I agree Justin.

Even I have to agree that the pope in rome is the pope, that Cedric here is not in the Vatican, nor I dobut in Rome, and he most certainly not the pope of the Roman catholic church.

A friendly message to Mr. Cedric, I fear that continuing to post in such a persona will just further offend this Kingdom's Roman Catholic citizens.
I agree with them both.

What is this about you being the pope, the pope is not dead (yet), and you have no right to cal your self him ( if that makes any sense).

I for one dont like this AT ALL!
Matt, sweetie, I hate to break it to you, but ... you're Lutheran. smilie
Enough of my Laura Lorenz imitation...

As for HH Cedric:
I have no objection to him being some sort of micronational pontiff, but if he could please drop the references to "loyal Roman Catholics", that would be most wonderful. Commanding "loyal Roman Catholics" to join his organization makes it seem that if they do not join, they are not loyal to the true Mother Church.

Long Live the Pope!
(the one that is in Rome)
Aderyn is not even religious to my knowledge smilie and he thinks its quite insulting. That is the proof in the pudding for me. Not only is it insulting to "Loyal Roman Catholics" it diminishes Hanover's sense of seriousness. We are not a simulation and therefore simulation churches will not be recognized or approved by the State.
Your Royal Highness, Prince Justin,

Thank you for making the statement you did. I am a Catholic and am insulted by this simulated church which cames to be real. As I have said, I believe strongly in non-simulation, and I believe that Hanover embodies this belief and should continue to.

It does not matter what I am, it matters that this offends my in many ways.

1. The real pope rules, if he is being demoted my this fool then we burn him at the stakes (this guy, not the real pope)

2. As stated before Hanover is not meant to be a simulation, but part of the real world (in an odd sort of way)
