HIS MAJESTY ALEXANDER
GAGARIN ROYAL OFFICE
HANOVER
The Royal Family was delighted to see the birth of a new democracy in Iraq as millions of Iraqis voted for the first time in their lived. While the situation is still far from settled and secure it is a good first step. A first step we hope leads to and entire journey to freedom and prosperity for the Iraqi people.
Of course, many neighboring nations are not very pleased at all to see that the elections were more or less violence free in a rather dramatic demonstration to the world that the Iraqi people are more than capable of making their own political decisions.
We sincerely hope that the occupation forces will soon be relieved by native Iraqi forces and released to return to their various homelands.
Regards,
HM Alexander of All Hanover
