A PROCLAMATION.
Thomas R.
WHEREAS the Organic Law of the Kingdom of Hanover places in Our hands the prerogative of naming Our own successor to Our throne, to succeed thereunto upon Our demise or abdication,
WHEREAS We find it meet that our most trusted subject and Prime Minister, CHAR-LEZ, Duke of Gottingen, should succeed to Our throne upon Our demise or abdication,
LET IT BE KNOWN that it is Our will and desire that Our beloved subject and cousin CHAR-LEZ, Duke of Gottingen be acclaimed as CROWN PRINCE OF HANOVER and heir to Our throne.
Given at Our Court at Marchmain Palace on this Twentieth Day of November in the Year of Grace 2003.[/font]
