One Citizen, Two Nations, Two Roles
[Posted in the Salon and Ellicott Square]
I'd like to continue a discussion on an article I posted in micronations.net in which I said, in part:
In fact, that may be an ideal micronational career as a dual citizen - bear the burden of government in one nation, help build the non-governmental culture in the other.
See pub114.ezboard.com/fmicro...41&stop=51
I'd like to be clear that I'm not suggesting that this is an exclusive solution to the one citizen - two nations situation, only that it works for me.
By taking a government role in one nation and a cultural or private role in another, one not only minimizes the conflict of interest dilemma, one also minimizes burn out by exercising two different "muscle groups".
Your thoughts?
