It seems to me that we have a few lawyers yet there is nothing for us to do. I was wondering. Has the Association ever though of holding pratice court sessions for cases? This would give us a chance to refine our skills and improve as lawyers.
What does everyone think??????????????????
Just randomly sue people or something...
After the rules are posted this would be a really good plan I think.
Yes, randomly sue people.... or find some other crime. In essence we would be acting. But it would be without a script. We would create a scenario, let's say... someone hacks into the assets ministry's forum and screw them up. A defensive and prosecuting attorney would have to be found, as well as a judge and jury. We would then have a trial (using the evidence from the scenario we created).
we couild charge you with conspiraring right now

I think a mock trial would be a great idea. This is just the kind of thing the Bar Association should be organising. Go for it! (And if you need fake witnesses or whatever, I'll gladly help out!)
Your Grace,
Thank you for your offer and your support, if we proceed with this idea you will be contacted I am sure and we will definately need the help. Thank you again.
Maybe we could even make the participation in the moot court one of the criterias for accepting new members.
That sounds like a good question to rise before the court in a mock trial.
I think since a lot of us are in a greement that maybe we should srart formulating the scenario, any ideas?
We appoint a non Bar organiser, possibly The Duke of Brunswick as he is so open to helping if he could, have someone design the case, presumably the membership process of the bar. The Organiser appoints one to defend the process and the other to defeat it with adifferent plan, the judge listens and rules on the matter and then it gives us a base. Any other ideas?
