The legality of some clauses of the Regional Powers Act 2004 has been drawn into question. We feel the Chief Justice has presented sufficient argument to believe that, if challenged in court, the clause in question would be struck down and thus the entire legislation may be in jepordy.
However, we also feel this is important and beneficial legislation and that the ideals expressed by the Parliment shall not be allowed to pass from the realm by inadvertant oversight.
Therefore we direct the Ministry of Interior Affairs to delay implementation of this law until such time as we command.
