Sorry, but what is that exactly?

Stepping down as president only to be elected Honorary President, I must admit I am confused!
Why? A Honorary President has no official powers, but it is the way for us to honour our first president who made it to become Chief Justice.
THE ELECTION

Dear colleagues,

I will use an automatized election tool for this election.

Members of the bar have received an email with the subject "ELEC: Wahlkarte für Royal Bar Association".

"Wahlkarte für" stands for "Polling information for"

In that email, you see the begin and end times for the election (in CET, which ist GMT/HUT +1hr).

You find your individual voter's number and your passwort as "Wahlkartennummer" and "Passwort" in the email.

Go to http://vote.elec.tropicali.de/
enter your number and password and vote smilie

If there's much interest in using this election tool here in Hanover, I'd be able to prepare an English interface.

Mr. von Arabien,

I have just voted. This looks like a potentially useful tool, especially for the Bar.

Sincerely,

Lord Oldenburg
Have we recieved all the votes and is the election now completed?
