JR

BY THE KING.

A PROCLAMATION.

James R.

Whereas We have determined that it is altogether fitting that a day of special celebration honouring the People of Hanover should be added to the calendar of national holidays,

Let it be known that it is now Our will and pleasure that the Twenty-fifth Day of July shall henceforth be called Hanover Day, and that on that day the Offices of Our Government shall be closed in recongnition thereof.

It is our further desire that this solemnity should be marked by appropriate patriotic festivities.

Given at Our Court at Marchmain Palace, this Fifteenth day of July, in the Year of Grace 2003, the Second of Our reign.

God Save the King.
