Short-
A- uh in cut (a schwa) (@)

o- ah as in father (a)
u- uh as in cut or ‘u’ in put (@ or U)
Long-
á- ah in father (a)
é- ay in pay (e)
í- ee in read (i)
ó- o in slow (O)
ú- oo in shoot (u)
(In some areas the long and short vowels are no longer distinct, all the shorts are pronounced as longs, but not in the Royal Dialect)
If an /i/ is followed by an /a/ then the /i/ is long.
Dipthongs:
Iu- as in English ‘cute’ the KYU sound qu (ju)
Eu- ee-oo (rarely used) (iu)
Oi- oy in toy (oi)
Ai- ‘I’ sound in eye (ai)

Liturgical Hanoverian
Liturgical Hanoverian is to be used for liturgy in the Holy Church of Christ in Hanover services only in the Diocese of Hanover. It is pronounced slightly different.
For instance all vowels have long pronounciation:
