The Affirmation of Allegiance
"I do solemnly affirm that I will faithfully observe and uphold the organic Law of the Kingdom of Hanover, and that I will bear true faith and allegiance to His Majesty, King Alexander I, his heirs and successors, and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion."
